Attached here is a zip file containing a bome’s preset and some user configs for automaps.

The Bome’s preset will provide on/off/momentary mutes, scrolling in the session view, and perhaps best of all, four additional control surfaces instead of the default pan/s1/s2/s3 knobs.

You will need to have at least 5 midi yoke (or other virtual midi ports) ports on your system for this to work. Hopefully, if you have them installed, you won’t have to do much to the bome’s preset to get it to work.

The APC40 will be coming from bome’s to ableton via midiyoke 1 and 2. The additional surfaces (microCh1 etc) will be looking at midiyoke 3 and 4. Midiyoke 5 should have “remote” assigned on the input side and it will handle knob updating.

Lastly, and weirdly, in order for all this to function as desired, I built an fx rack and loaded it with four empty fx racks. I manually midi assigned the knobs from the four pages to the knobs in these racks in order to get ableton to enable the knobs for use. It’s janky, but it’s the only way I found to accomplish everything.

Ok, so here’re the recordings from Monday night.  They are in two parts as there was some confusion as to Simon’s start time.  For what it’s worth (for those of you who were at the show) I edited a grand total of 15 seconds or so of material to fix a couple of errors.  Let me know what you think!
